Campus Life- East Frederick County

I grew up in Baltimore Maryland. My parents are both followers of Christ. I grew up attending Central Presbyterian Church and going to Christian school. I accepted Christ when I was 7 years old. I grew up knowing and loving Christ; and striving to live for Him. However; when I went away to college I was really challenged to go even deeper in my faith, I was challenged ‘to have a reason for the hope that I have..’ (1 Peter 3:15) It was no longer enough to go by my parent’s faith and what the church taught me; so after thinking and praying through why I believe in Christ I rededicated my life to Christ. It is a life-long journey with Christ and I am being constantly being taught, grown and stretched in my faith.

I went to Eastern University and majored in Youth Ministry. I also have a minor in Biblical studies and Psychology. I played field hockey my freshman year and was a part of the cheerleading team my junior and senior year. I studied aboard in Australia the fall semester of my senior year as well. After graduating I interned at Ligonier Camp and Conference Center for the 2009-2010 school year.

Youth for Christ hired me in August of 2011 and I am the Campus Life Director for the East side of Frederick County. I am so excited about this ministry and the chance to reach out to teens and bring them into community and a loving relationship with Christ.

I love getting to pour into students lives, go climbing and repelling, children’s and coffee table books, trying new things and new foods, exploring God’s creation, greeting cards, laughing with good friends, sending mail, clif bars, coloring books and tiaras, kettle corn, playing field hockey, journaling,  being at the beach or inner harbor, eating crab dip, campfires, dancing and visiting friends.
